It takes at least 18 days for a person to develop a habit, while a cat only needs one time to develop a bad habit!!!
Ever since moving to a new home in May, the black cat has not corrected its bad habit of peeing everywhere. The cat's behavior is disgraceful!
There are many reasons for a cat peeing everywhere, but I can confirm that the reason for the black cat's behavior is definitely due to its character! The reasons are as follows:
- ❌ There is no issue with the litter box being dirty: I clean it twice a day.
- ❌ There is no issue with the litter box being too small: I bought a super large litter box after moving to the new home, which can accommodate 2-3 cats at the same time.
- ❌ There is no stubborn old urine stuck on the litter box: The litter box is brand new.
- ❌ There is no issue with the cat not adapting to the new home: Although we moved to a new home, the people in the house have not changed, and the black cat was active and lively within a day.
- ❌ There is no territorial issue between animals: There is only one cat in the house, and two people.
- ❌ There is no issue with the urinary system: I have observed that the cat's urination is completely normal, both in terms of quantity and color.
- ❌ There is no issue with the litter: I have always used tofu litter for the cat, and to rule out any litter issues, I even bought a separate litter box with bentonite litter.
Based on my observations over the past two months, the black cat does use the litter box every day, but it often pees on the floor in front of closed doors, such as in the bathroom, at the entrance, and in front of my roommate's door.
Conclusion: This cat has strange habits of occupying human territory.
